I’m Organic launched a new line of “organic messaging” products that promote organic and let consumers voice their support. I’m Organic manufactures organic apparel, biodegradable mugs, recycled wristbands, magnets, recycled greeting cards, organic lunchbags, totebags and more which are printed with consumer-submitted organic messages such as “Get Real, Go Organic,” “Powered by Organic Food,” and “Kiss Me, I’m Organic”.
Aveda has bottled the scent of 500 pure Bulgarian rose petals in its exclusive organic new aroma, Rose Attar. This “pure-fume” is made from organic essential oils from jojoba and Bulgarian rose, a delicate and precious flower that blooms only once a year. Because of this, there are only 3,700 bottles in existence of this particular vintage, available only in Aveda Lifestyle Salons and Experience Centers. Aveda is now one of the world’s largest purchasers of organic essential oils. In fact, since 2000, as a result of working closely with partners around the world to gain certification, now 80 percent of the tonnage of the essential oils used by Aveda is certified organic.
Guayakí launched three new Organic Yerba Mate Fusions: Pure Endurance, Pure Passion and Pure Mind, which blend health-enhancing infusions of yerba mate (mah-tay) and medicinal herbs such as gingko biloba and Siberian ginseng from China, tulsi from India, Himalayan crystal salt from Pakistan, damiana from Central America and catuaba from Brazil. In addition, the company also launched an unsweetened version of their bottled yerba mate iced tea.
Butte Creek Brewing Co. has created a new brew, Mateveza, an organic pale ale brewed with yerba mate, the South American tea prized for its energizing and nutritional properties. Yerba mate’s earthy, herbal notes are the perfect compliment to the crisp, citrusy character of the cascade hops. Available in 16 ounce bottles.
Wholesome Sweeteners has created an all-natural, organic sweetener—Organic Zero—slated to hit shelves in summer 2007. Organic Zero has zero calories, zero artificial ingredients and a glycemic index of zero. This sweetener is made from naturally fermented and crystallized organic sugar cane juice called erythritol, a naturally occurring sugar that is present in fruits such as pears and melons and fermented foods like soy sauce and beer.

Nature’s Path has created a line of organic hemp food products including HempPlus Instant Hot Oatmeal, HempPlus Waffles, HempPlus Granola, HempPlus Granola Bars and HempPlus Brownie Mix. Hempseed has been grown for at least the last 12,000 years as food and is one of the most balanced sources of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. Nature’s Path also recently introduced Smart Bran cereal, made with oat bran and psyllium for a total of 13 grams of fiber.

Bob’s Red Mill has developed two new organic pancake and waffle mixes, a seven grain, as well as a high fiber variety. The high fiber mix includes flaxseed, wheat germ, oat bran and wheat bran and both mixes are made with organic stone ground whole grain flours, aluminum-free leavening and organic raw sugar.
Pomega5 recently launched the industry’s first line of organic pomegranate seed oil nutritional supplements and therapeutic skin care useing 100 percent pure, cold-pressed pomegranate seed oil. Pomegranate is rich is in antioxidants and is shown to promote health throughout the body.
Gardenburger has created the organic certified, vegan Malibu Burger. Loaded with cooked brown rice, broccoli, corn, carrots, bell peppers, onions and rolled oats, the Malibu Burger is an excellent source of antioxidants, dietary fiber and omega-3s. It’s set to hit the shelves late Summer 2007.
