CCOF, one of North America’s oldest and largest organic certifiers experienced substantial growth in 2007 with 277 new certified organic clients, up 18.2 percent from 1523 clients, and an increase in acreage of 141,371 acres, up a phenomenal 40.7 percent.
This growth is reflected in CCOF’s newly released 2008 Organic Directory and Resource Guide. This year’s Directory includes more than 1000 organic products and 1800 different businesses.
 Kamut International recently hired and promoted staff to manage growing sales and expanding markets. Trevor Blyth was promoted to regional director, covering North America, Australia and Asia. Kamut International also hired a full-time PR/marketing/communications director, Tara Blyth, who previously worked for Hilton Hotels in sales and marketing.
