Kerry Unveils Whole-Grain Soy Flour
Kerry Americas introduces whole-grain soy flour from Nutriant—the first soy flour to be recognized as whole grain, according to the American Association of Cereal Chemists’ (AACC) definition for whole grains. These whole-grain soy ingredients are a direct response to interest from the grain-based food industries as they develop consumer products that meet the dietary and nutritional recommendations included in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005. The new guidelines recommend that Americans consume three-or-more-ounce equivalents of whole-grain products per day with the rest of the recommended grains coming from enriched or whole-grain products.
